If you want to make a claim, phone the dedicated number – 0800 048 9436. Call as soon as possible after an accident, and have the details of the incident to hand. The name of your insurer and policy number would also help but are not necessary.
An adviser will check that you and your vehicle are safe and ask you some questions about what’s happened. Then they’ll contact your insurer to let them know so you don’t have to. And if you need to repair your vehicle or need a replacement vehicle, our advisors will be on hand to help.
Legal Advice is also included as part of the Hamilton Robertson Accident Management Service, in case you or your passenger(s) have been injured or subsequently suffer loss of earnings.

What to do in the event of an accident
The main thing is to try and remain calm and firstly ensure you, any passengers and other persons are safe. Secondly, ensure your damaged vehicle is in a safe position, and not causing danger.
Do not admit liability.
Take photographs of the scene and look to see if any other person witnessed the accident. Take a note of their contact details.
